A lesson in under roasting

Cupping two tragically under roasted coffees. Guatemala Antigua Finca Cabrejo, and Tanzania Shiwanda Estate. Bill Gates says “Success is a lousy teacher”. Well then I’m going to learn a lot today! I was trying to roast smaller sample sizes and I think I just went with way to little heat. Whelp, let’s see what under roasted tastes like then. A = Guatamala B = Tanzania Dry Aroma: A/B Super mild. Grassy almost. Wet Aroma: A - Grassy. Almost no scent. B - Grassy, peppery. Flavor: A - Poor thing. You’d be so good if you were roasted proper. I’ll do right by you next time. All grassy and hay like. B - Even worse. I can taste some of the bright fruit in here. It’s sour when it’s this under roasted, but damn, that’s going to be a fine cup when I do it right. I'll do better next time lil' buddies I swear!
